This website is managed by Skiperformance AS on behalf of Bergbahnen Ofterschwang. It is designed to be used by as many people as possible, including persons with disabilities.

You should be able to:

  • to read most of the content with an adequate contrast and element size

Compliance status

This website is partially compliant with technical standard EN 301 549 v.3.2.1 and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. See ‘Non-accessible content’ for more details.

The website was last tested on 4 July 2025.

Preparation of this statement

This statement was prepared on 14 July 2025.

The evaluation will include all major page types (excluding full user journey flows), including product browsing, cart, and checkout. All identified issues will be fully documented with descriptions, WCAG references, and developer-focused explanations of the underlying causes.

Testing will be conducted on both desktop and mobile views, with specific attention to dynamic content, assistive technology behavior, and keyboard accessibility. Color contrast and visual elements will be assessed using both automated and manual methods, with final responsibility for styling decisions remaining at the discretion of each entity, based on their ability to override styles.

Given the wide range and combination of settings available within the platform, it is not feasible to test all possible functional configurations; however, core components and interactions are represented within the selected pages.

Additionally, due to the use of HTML templating and custom styling, individual entities have the ability to alter content and structure in ways that may impact accessibility beyond the scope of this evaluation.

Testing methods

2. Guided & manual testing: using Axe DevTools, conduct complimentary (but essential) tests on interface.

Compatibility with browsers and assistive technology

The Bergbahnen Ofterschwang website is designed to be compatible with the following most used assistive technologies:

  • the latest version of Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox and Apple Safari browsers;
  • in combination with the latest versions of NVDA, VoiceOver and TalkBack.

Non-accessible content

Despite our best efforts to ensure the accessibility of the Bergbahnen Ofterschwang website, we are aware of some limitations. Below is a description of known limitations and potential solutions. Please contact us if you encounter an issue not listed below.

Known limitations

1. Keyboard navigation: The site is not fully keyboard accessible.

2. Image accessibility: Some images lack alternative text descriptions, making them inaccessible to screen reader users. Additionally, decorative icons and images may not be properly marked up for assistive technologies, and font-based icons may not be accessible to all users.

3. Interactive elements: Some links and buttons lack discernible text or accessible names. Furthermore, certain interactive elements have missing or incorrect ARIA roles and properties, and some clickable elements—particularly icons—have target sizes smaller than the recommended 24×24 pixels, making them difficult to activate on touch devices.

4. Form and input: Autocomplete attributes are missing from form fields. Additionally, some controls and inputs lack proper accessible descriptions or labels.

5. Content structure and navigation: Some content that appears visually grouped is not properly grouped in the code structure. Navigation elements may also be missing or misplaced in certain contexts, and users may be able to navigate outside modal dialogs with screen readers.

About improvements

Fixing the current version of the site, developed over a decade ago, presents a disproportionate burden. Skipeformance is actively working on a brand new version that will use updated frameworks with the goal of achieving full compliance.

We are committed to addressing these accessibility issues systematically. Given the complexity of the e-commerce platform and the need to coordinate improvements across multiple branded websites, we plan to:

  • Address critical issues affecting core shopping and navigation functionality
  • Implement comprehensive image accessibility improvements
  • Resolve interactive element and navigation issues
  • Complete form accessibility enhancements
